A proper job, start to finish
MCR Resin Driveways is a Limited company run by Stewart Quigley and his team, working out of Vanguard Business Park in Oldham. We install resin bound driveways, patios, block paving and artificial grass right across Greater Manchester and Cheshire.
Every drive we lay starts underground. We excavate the old surface, get the sub-base right and sort the drainage before any resin goes down, because that is the part that decides whether a driveway lasts five years or twenty five.

What we do

From the dig-out to the final edge, everything is handled in-house. No subcontracting the groundworks out and hoping for the best.
Resin Patios
Seating areas, paths and full back-garden patios in resin bound stone. The detail and the colours hold up beautifully and stay easy to keep clean.
Block Paving
Traditional block paved driveways and borders, laid to fall for drainage and finished with crisp edging courses that frame the whole job.
Rubber Crumb Safety Resin
Wet-pour rubber crumb surfacing for playgrounds and play areas. Soft underfoot, hard-wearing and installed to the same standard as our driveways.
Artificial Grass
Low-maintenance artificial lawns for front and back gardens, laid over a prepared base so it stays flat, green and usable all year round.
Groundworks & Drop Kerbs
The bit that matters most: full excavation, sub-base, drainage and dropped kerbs. We dig out properly and prep the ground before a single grain of resin goes down.
Front to back, sloped or flat
We shape the whole space, not just the flat bit
Sleeper-built steps, planting beds, recessed lighting and split levels. If the ground is tricky, that is exactly the kind of job we enjoy most.

The groundwork is the whole game
A resin surface is only ever as good as what is underneath it. Here is how a typical MCR job comes together.

Dig out & clear
We strip the old driveway back, remove the spoil and take the ground down to a solid, level base.

Base & drainage
A compacted sub-base goes in, drainage and edging are set, and the falls are checked before anything is laid.
03
Lay & finish
The resin bound stone is hand-trowelled to a smooth, permeable finish, then edged and left to cure hard.
